Firsthand Experience - 05 Plainview Points

Upon mentioning a previous post about an interest in the Plainview points, Mr. Turner explained that he was actually involved in that site survey. He elaborated upon the history of the points, explaining that they were used at a bison jump - a site where bison were herded over cliffs and then killed. The plainview point is different than the other points of this area - they come from a different culture with different technology from around 7000 years ago. Dr. Sam Vanhoose and Mr. Turner and the department of public works feel like the site should not be a simple monument to what used to be, but instead have it be an interactive site - an interpretive center.
After doing more research about them, I found that the Plainview points are Paleoindian points, which refers to the first people that inhabited the American continent.
