Health Services

The health of a community is very crucial.  Plainview has a large amount of available health practitioners so that citizens may choose where they would like to go.  The board of health maintains the services and programs that are made available to the public to encourage good health and proactivity  against health hazards.

Current Programs


Car Seat Program - This program offers free car seats to women who are in their third trimester.  Training is also available twice a month.


Texas Vaccine for Children Program - This program allows for administering vaccines to children from the  ages of 2 months old up to 18 years old.  Immunizations cost $10.
